I'm more upset about this than I imagined I would be, since I didn't even read the 11th book when it came out. I guess I always thought I'd get back to them someday, but this...it's just so sad.

By the way, the Wheel of Time series is going to be finished - most of the final book was done (or at least heavily outlined) and will be published by his wife.

I remember devouring the early novels when they first came out. It was hard to maintain interest when the later novels took longer and longer to come out.

That's what I've heard, too! So at least there'll be something to finish when I get around to re-reading the whole thing. Like...when I'm retired. Hee.
