Okay...job interview...went OK. I think they're going to end up hiring someone who has more Special Ed experiance, given what they told me about the job, but it was good to have an interview experiance under my belt.

Heat wave...was drowning in my own sweat this week, up until this morning when the heat finally broke. Except for the clouds, today was nice. Work has been rough the past couple of days, being in the sun and all. All I've wanted to do for the past several days is sit in air conditioning and sleep.

Defining the Relationship is underway, finally. Reviews are starting to trickle in, and I'm pleased. Other than that, I'm concerned by the loss of the chatbox over at PhonenixSong. I really enjoyed it. It's too bad a few people had to spoil it for the rest of us. Not mentioning any names, but I have a pretty good idea of who those people might be.

Been fighting with comptuers all day. First Sara's brand new laptop has issues, spend part of the afternoon on the phone with Gateway, and then the REST of the afternoon on the phone with Dell concerning my sister's laptop, which gives her the blue screen of death whenever she tries to unplug the A/C adapter when the thing's turned on. Talk about stupid. Anyway, trying to figure that out. Still no answers from Dell. They suck.

And finally, to the heart of the matter. Sara scored Red Sox tickets in a raffle at work! Whohoo! Third base line, box seats. These are $80 seats! Game's tomorrow, against the Reds. It's a little dissapointing that it's interleauge, but hey, we're going, right? And the Reds have the worst ERA in baseball, so there's a good chance we'll win. I'm so freakin psyched!

Dinner time! Peace!

Wow...where to begin.

I graduated from college a week ago tommorrow. Conincidently, I have a job interview tomorrow. More on that later.

Graduation, was, well, all in all, it was fine. I have to admit the day started out as a dissapointment, as many of you may have gathered from my angry post the moring of the ceremony. It rained, so we could not hold commencment on the Lawn in front of Lee Chapel, instead, we had it indoors, at Cameron Hall, the large basketball arena at VMI. Very annoying. Had a good laugh though, looking at the banners hanging from the rafters. Poor little VMI is still claiming bragging rights to making the Sweet 16 in the early 70's. I guess they haven't had much luch since then. Graduation speaker was Tom Wolfe, a WLU alumni. He was hysterically funny. Made fun of Paris Hilton, that was cool. Got my diploma, real sheepskin!

After the ceremony it was time to finish up the packing. We managed to get everthing in the two vehicles, and trundled home to NH on Friday, getting in very late. Saturday was spent unpacking. Most of my stuff still isn't unpacked, as I'm trying to clean my room, and start packing to move out all at the same time. Not working really well, in fact, my computer isn't even unpacked yet. I'm updating from my Dad's.

That doesn't stop me from working on Fanfiction! The Prolouge to DTR is back from the beta, as of today. I'm going to go have a look at that next.

I've been working at the golf course. I'm now nicely sunburned to deep lobster red, but that's okay, because once that peels, I'll brown up to a nice farmers tan. Sara's crazy about that. She also think's that I look sexy driving a tractor, so it's all good. We've been areoating,(sp?) this week. On Tuesday, the small areoater blew a spring, and was down most of the day, so we were behind, but Bob, the mechanic, managed to fix it. Today, worse, the big areoater blew a drive shaft. Glenn, my boss, the course super, had ordered a spare, because he knew it was wearing out. That was two month ago, the part's been backordered. Bob took the broken one to a machine shop to see if they can create a new one. That's won't be cheap.

Job interview tomorrow at John Stark Regional High School. It's a temp position, one year only, and it's the school furtherst away from where I want to be, so I may not take it, even if they offer it to me. But it's a place to start, we'll see.

Anyway, time to go do some editing, catch ya on the flip side.

The good news is I got my grades in from student teaching finally. A-! Which puts my cumulative GPA at 3.255. Pretty damn remakable when you consider I had a 2.001 after my first term freshman year. Dug myself out of nice little hole, and will probably graduate cum laude.

Other good news...they've received my resume at the schools I sent them to, and nobody's told me that the job's been filled yet, so I'm hopeful.

And the bad news...

Regular readers will remember a few weeks ago when some vandals did some damage at the Golf Course. Just got a call from home today. They were back last night, and managed to damage about 12 golf carts before they were noticed and someone called the police. I don't know how badly they were damaged, or what kind of damage they did to the turf, but still, this is a pain in the ass. Probably kids with not enough supervision....out to be taken out and hung by their toes, where we can throw rotten fruit at them.

Typical

Just a quick note. The cops didn't find anything last night. The dog tried tracking them, but no avail. Anyway.

I also hate it when I'm right. They found a second cart had been taken (I knew something didn't look right in the cart shed.) They found it flipped over on the 18th fairway.

Idiots all...may they all suffer a thousand screaming deaths.

ARRRG!

So, there I was, sitting at home, watching House, when the phone rings. It's the local police department, informing us that they're responding to an alarm at the golf course clubhouse. Dad spend the next few minutes rounding up the rest of the family, (or attempting to) and we tear off down their, point our headlights at the building and wait for the cops.

The perps didn't make it in the building. They smashed a window, which tripped the alarm, and took off. Before they did that, though, they took a golf cart and did some joy riding.

So much for a quiet evening at home.

It's snowing out side my window right now. Yes, it's April. It is however, New Hampshire, so anything goes. Not very much snow, granted, but a few stray flakes. Enough to count as snow anyway.

It was a busy day. I spent most of it edging sand traps at the golf course. Pain in the neck, let me tell you. It was cold, and the wind was bitter. Blew right through you. You'd get all hot and sweaty loading up the cart, and then when you started driving away to dump the load, the cold would slice right through you. I'm off tomorrow, and then I'm back to Virginia for the last six weeks of my college career. Hard to believe that four years have gone by so quickly.

So now I'm sitting here on my parent's couch in a blanket (the heat was turned off for the summer a month ago) and just killing time before NCIS and House come on TV. Sara's off at the William and Mary spring awards ceremony, and will be back later. She's pretty stressed out about her thesis, and she's tired. I'm looking forward to when that gets done. It's time for us all to graduate. I think we've all had about as much of college as we can take.

THat's not to say I won't miss all my freinds, though. There's a handful at both schools that I'll miss, and wish I could hang onto for a while, but all good things must come to an end, right?

Long list of errands for tomorrow. Gotta get the oil changed in the Cherokee, check the coolant and all that. Go grocery shopping so I can stock the larder for the last six weeks of school. Stop by Wal-mart and look for a CD. Sara and I think we might have picked out a song we might dance to at the wedding. We'll see. Do a couple other errands. Maybe swing by the High School and do some last minute visiting.

Anyway, it's almost time for NCIS, so I'll wrap this up. Later all.

Howdy all. This came to me while I was driving in circles around sand traps this morning, raking them. Hope you enjoy.

So, I did my first radio broadcast of a baseball game this weekend. Covered a double header against Mt. Aloysius. We took both games. They were a pretty poor team. I was excited about it, but it didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I was the third guy in a three man booth. I felt like the third wheel on a date. I kept stats and pitch counts and random trivia, but other than that, not much for me to do.

I think I'm starting to get homesick. I was at the baseball game, looking at the greening grass, and thinking, gee, I bet the golf course grass is starting to get green. Then I remember that its probably still covered in snow. Spring comes earlier here than back home, so sometimes I get seasonal disorientation. Going home for April break will probably be like traveling two weeks back in time, at least in terms of weather. Still looking forward to it, though. Cannot wait. Trying to convince one of my brothers to come home with me, just for fun. That'd be pretty cool, if you ask me.

Lots of work to do, and not enough time to do it, so I'm going to keep this one short.

Till then...
