There's gonna be a floody floody...
May. 14th, 2006 11:24 amParts of New England are currently underwater as one of the worst rainstorms in my own memory drenches the region. On the bright side, it's May. If this were Febuary, we'd be buried under several feet of snow right now.
Fortunetly for me, my house is well elevated and dry. My parent's house has some basement flooding, and many streets are closed in Salem, but I don't think there's going to be any serious loss of property, at least in Salem. I'm sure it will be worse other places.
In other news, Sara and I have a new place to live, finally. So we'll be moving after June 1 to a bigger place, halelujah! I wish the rent wasn't also so correspondingly bigger, but what can you do?
Sears continues to suck my will to live.
Lastly, I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there on my Flist! You rock!
